Love the idea and the art. Unfortunately the artist was supplied with historically inaccurate information. The Battle of Harlem Heights was fought to the south of Washington's lookout - Point of Rocks, which was at 127th Street. As St. Nicholas Park runs from 128th St. to 141St., neither the Point of Rocks nor the battle took place is what is today St. Nicholas Park. Here is link that gives the street locations of the battle http://www.nyfreedom.com/harlemheights.htm During this battle the British were pushed back to below 106th Street not north to Westchester.
