I have been a resident of Harlem for many years and have always enjoyed St. Nic Park. From the newest resident Alexander Hamilton's home to one of the oldest resident the Schist.

St. Nic park does not disappoint as it continues the compitent tradition of the city great parks providing New Yorkers with a desperately needed therapeutic green space, oasis.

One of the secrets and more amusing facts about St. Nic park is the coincidence of the parks main entrance where the promenade is located at 135th Street. Yes, there are exactly 135 steps! Happy counting!!

By removing this sheet you are defacing art. Keep in mind- we all have a right to experience art. Be gentle.

About 2 years ago, summer 2008, I was sitting on the grass on this park enjoying a beautiful evening with a girl that I love. We had a beautiful romance that didn't last too long. Last summer we separated and it is unclear if we will be together again but I am a hopeful guy.

I believe this park shouldn't have these stairs. What if im disabled can't walk up these stairs to go to school. Shaking my head. Anyways do something about it

I was raised in the neighborhood on 135th St & 8th Ave. We used to swing on ropes on the trees & slide down the hill on cardboard boxes or garbage can tops when er were kids! In the 60's

On my first visit to this park, I got a ticket, because my dog ran free

I love St Nick!
I bring my dog here + have a fantastic time walking through the whole park - the upgraded paths + stairs are fantastic. Thank you NYC Dept. of Parks and Rec! And of course the dog run rocks! Friends of St. Nicolas Park throw a fabulous summertime series - from DJs that play old school hip hop, salsa nights, theater + comedy ---
What more colud you ask for in a neighborhood spot? 6/19/10

This was our first visit to the park. We are visiting from San Fransisco.I'm from Boston, and my boyfriend from CA. His great uncle, Gaeton Ajello was architect of buildings in the neighborhood, so we are exploring and filming the buildings for his family.
The Claremont @ 135th St. and Broadway is our first stop!
Awesome park and the BBQ going on here smells delicious.

When I walk by the park I withhold flashbacks of the 4 years I attended A. Philip Randolf H.S. my dream was to then enter city college but due to my poor behavior (attendance) in the junior year I was not able to but this park brings wonderful and delightful memories of my accomplishments to be the 1st in my family to graduate from high school

The past is the past even though it build up the future you should always forget about negative things that happened in the past always the positive and make change in the future

Dear St.Nicholas Park ~

Oh what a relief you bring a country girl living in Harlem. Your sweet tulips and beautiful oaks have been a sort of gentle reminder of the natural world that exists outside the confines of this concrete and steel! I cherish your little park!
Thank you!

Dear Mr Hamilton a lovely park you have here. Thanks!
Hope you're having a nice rest. Joel says Hi, and keep up the good work. Good job on the National Treasury. Sorry that a bunch of jerks ruined it later on.

Sincerely, Sarah

Barbecuing in the park should be restricted to permits and in specifically noted areas to permit holders. So as to make them responsible for all littering in the assigned lot. It will help keep the park clean. Should violators - will be banned and fined after warning

Thank you for caring! We have been working toward a more beautiful and ccaring community for over a decade. Please help us continue this. P.S. We love our dogs. The change @ St. Nick started because of them.

So what if a Revolutionary war was fought here what about the killing of the American Indians, what about the evil that America has done all around the world. Think about that
